Terms of Use

The simple rules for using Zupzi Art.

Effective date: September 24, 2026

These are the terms for using the Zupzi Art app for iPhone and iPad. We kept them short and plain, because a parent should be able to read them.

Accepting these terms

By creating a Zupzi account or using Zupzi Art, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who can hold an account

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of every child you add. The account is yours; child profiles exist only inside it and are managed by you. Children do not agree to these terms; you do, on their behalf.

What Zupzi Art is

Zupzi Art helps a family keep children’s artwork: you capture drawings with the camera or find them in your photos, children can draw and color in the app, and you can make a yearly book as a PDF. Some optional features use AI to make something new from a drawing, an idea or a photo: a magic scene, a new style, a 3D toy, or a coloring page. Those are made on our servers, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your account and your family

  • Zupzi Art uses the same Zupzi account and the same family as Zupzi Play. Changes to your family or your children’s profiles in one app show up in the other.
  • Deleting your account in Zupzi Art deletes your Zupzi account for both apps. If you are the only grown-up in the family, the family and its Zupzi Play data are deleted too. Your artwork is not deleted, because it is stored in your own iCloud, not in the account.
  • Keep your sign-in to yourself, and keep each child’s PIN between you and that child.

Your responsibilities as a parent

  • Only add children you are responsible for, and give accurate information about them.
  • Decide how your child uses the app. Kid Mode on your device, and a paired device for your child, are there to help, but they are not a substitute for a grown-up nearby.
  • Pair only devices your family controls, and turn off any device you no longer trust.
  • Choose carefully what you add to the family album and whom you invite to it. Anyone you invite can see what you share there.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • send photos or pictures you do not have the right to use, or photos of people who have not agreed (or whose parent has not agreed, for a child);
  • send anything sexual, violent or otherwise unsuitable for a young audience, or try to get around the app’s filters;
  • use the app to harass anyone, or to make content that breaks the law or someone else’s rights;
  • try to break into other families’ data, overload our servers, automate requests, or copy or reverse-engineer the service.

We may refuse a request, and we may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or puts a child or the service at risk.

Your artwork belongs to your family

  • Your family owns the artwork you capture, make or keep in Zupzi Art. We do not claim any ownership of it.
  • When you ask for an AI creation, you give us a limited, temporary permission to process the drawing, text or photo you send, only to make that creation and return it to you. That permission ends when the material is deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your material to train AI models, and we do not show it to anyone.
  • What the AI makes for you is yours to keep, print and share for personal use.

About AI-generated results

AI creations are made by software. They may not look like the original drawing, may get details wrong, and may occasionally be unexpected or unsuitable despite our filters on the device and on our servers. Please look at a result before showing it to a child. If something is wrong or inappropriate, use Report a problem in the app or write to support@zupzi.io.

AI creations depend on our servers being available. They are made in order, one at a time, with a daily limit per family; a result waits for 24 hours to be collected and is then deleted. If our servers are resting, your request waits on your device and is sent later. Features can change or be retired.

Free, and nothing for sale

Zupzi Art is free. There is nothing for sale in the app, and it has no ads. The book is exported as a PDF that you can print wherever you like; if you use a printing service, that is between you and that service. If we ever offer paid features, we will tell you clearly before anything costs money, and your artwork will not be locked or deleted because of it.

iCloud and Apple

  • Your artwork is stored through Apple’s iCloud in your own Apple account. iCloud is Apple’s service, under Apple’s terms, and uses your iCloud storage.
  • The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to it; where they conflict about the license to use the app, Apple’s agreement controls. Apple is not responsible for Zupzi Art or its support; we are.

Ending things

You can stop using Zupzi Art at any time. You can delete your account in the app: Family tab, Your Zupzi account, Delete account. It cannot be undone. If we suspend or close an account, we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. Either way, your artwork stays in your iCloud, and you can export the originals.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Zupzi Art running, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”: things can go down, our servers can be resting, and features can change. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of content stored on your devices or in your iCloud. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by e-mail before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Zupzi Art after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, where Zupzi is operated. If you live in Brazil, Brazilian law and the consumer protections of the Código de Defesa do Consumidor also apply to you, and nothing here takes them away. Wherever you live, you keep the consumer rights the law gives you.
